Program Highlights:
The “Photovoltaics on the Roof” program subsidizes households for the installation of photovoltaic systems with a storage system and farmers for the installation of photovoltaic systems with or without a storage system, for self-consumption with the application of energy offsetting.
The aim of the program is to contribute to energy savings and a lower cost of living, as well as aiming for the building stock to approach near-zero energy consumption standards by 2050.
The PV system subsidy reaches 65% for households and 40% for farmers, while the battery subsidy is from 90% to 100%. At the same time, a 10% increase is provided for people with disabilities, spouses and dependent members of people with disabilities, single-parent, three-child and large-child families.
The total budget of the program is distributed as follows:
– Vulnerable households: 45 million euros
– Individual income <= €20,000 or family income <= €40,000: €100 million
– Individual income > €20,000 or family income > €40,000: €63 million
– Farmers: 30 million euros
Each natural person can submit a single application, for a single residence, primary or secondary, which has an active domestic electricity supply. Farmers can submit more than one application, depending on the number of rural electricity providers they have, as well as one application for their residence.
A basic condition for submitting an application is that the applicant has already concluded a Connection Agreement with DEDDIE but that the photovoltaic station has not been connected.
Also, a condition and condition for the inclusion of the photovoltaic plant and the storage system (if it exists) in the program is the non-existence of public support for the same system (photovoltaic plant with or without storage system) from any other financing program.
